Tahous Iberrakene

Tahous currently lives in London with her family.

She is a french national born in the northern part of France. She has Berber-Algerian origins from her parents.

At the age of 22 she obtained her masters degree in marketing from a french business school. The years following, she was mainly focused on her career as an international marketing manager for a large retail company.  She travelled all around Europe to help setup supermarkets in various countries.

in the year 1999 she met her husband and decided to stop working in order to found a family. This has in her mind always been the most important key achievement so quitting her successful career in the corporate world was an easy decision she does not regret.

She has three children who brighten her life everyday : aged 10,7 and 1. Beyond the drive and determination given by her family, she in her spare time enhances her knowledge of Berber Art and Craft.

It has been a way to keep a link with her parents origins. She thinks nothing should be taken for granted and she is grateful everyday for whatever life brings her. Tahous is a very loving caring and devoted person, she always reaches to the weakest when she can with her own means. She believes that if everyone would just do his own little gesture to help the ones in need the world would be a very different place. When she heard about the cause that C4F wanted to increase awareness of – Human trafficking – she jumped on it in an instant. She finds “human trafficking” disgusting, can not bear the thought of it and simply says this should not be existing today when you have powerful international body’s such as the United Nation overseeing it.

She’s thrilled to be a member of the C4F team! But now she realises she has to climb Kili…..
