Tais Field

Tais Field currently resides in Colorado, USA, with her husband and daughter. Originally from Brazil she has lived all over the world, having lived in UK for sometime also. This wonderful opportunity has given her the chance to meet some of the most inspiring people in her life, she feels because of this, she is embarking on such an adventure with anticipation and excitement.

Professionally, she is a woman of many talents, from Producing photo shoots for magazines and catalogues, predominantly for all the major fashion brands to teaching English as a second language to refugees in England.

Her best achievement to date is the amazing fulfilment in the last few years of being a mother.
Tais and her husband have an incredible and gorgeous 5 year old daughter. She is the reason Tais is always smiling! She inspires Tais daily.

The reason Tais is so passionate about this climb is mainly the opportunity to influence her daughter to go above and beyond in life! She also hopes to challenge and enthuse her friends through her actions by raising awareness towards the millions of other children out there  who don’t have the same chances in life and that these children need help.

From Tais – “Human Trafficking is unfortunately a cruel reality all around the world, and we can stop it while teaching the children around us they can also be real life super heroes and be a part of making a positive difference in so many lives!… “one of my goals with this climb is to inspire girls everywhere, to instead of using their bodies as a source of their self identity and self worth through sex and outward beauty ideals (which is what our society is putting out as role models for them) use their one and only uniquely beautiful bodies and intellect as strong tools to make a positive difference in people’s lives, and through these actions obtain a healthy and smart understanding of their own self worth.”
She continues “It doesn’t matter what you say, children watch what you do! So we need TO BE an example to make a positive difference if we want our own children to make a positive difference in the world! I dare every mother out there TO BE a real life super hero to your children, every small action makes a humungous difference,  then sit back and watch your little warriors grow up and impact the lives of millions around the world through their own dreams!”

Besides raising awareness on Human Trafficking, educating parents on how to keep children safe from sexual abuse has recently become one of her passions in her aim to protect the basic human rights of children. She recently successfully achieved her goal to educate several members of the Brazilian community of the Denver Metro Area in the subject. Tais is an aspiring ‘sports woman’ and among her accomplishments she has completed the MS150 ride, a 5 day mountain biking trip in the canyons of Utah and  has run many races in CO,  most recently a  marathon.

 Tais is a strong and integral member of the ‘Climb4Freedom’ team. She herself has a very exciting an inspiring story, which has impacted many. She loves the outdoors and strives to live an active lifestyle! We are honoured she has agreed to take this challenge on with us!
